Why fundraise for VITAL?

With a vision of a world where no child suffers the injustice of poverty, how can you refuse?

Have you seen “Slum Dog Millionaire” which highlights the true misery of living in the slums? Of children being forced into the sex trade, captured by criminals & mutilated so they attract more money when sent out to beg?

VITAL helps REAL children like those portrayed in the movie by funding education & training programmes & re-unite those who have been trafficked with their families.

With the support of the Neuman Foundation who pay for all the running costs of VITAL, 100% of all donations go to the children in need. In addition Trustees visit these projects twice a year & participate in these projects ensuring that funds are directed properly.

A minimum of £500 must be raised by Sept 4th to enjoy the pre & post after party which includes waterskiing, wakeboarding, donuting & jacuzzi.

If you raise £750, VITAL will reward you with a beautiful 100% organic cotton, fair trade certified hooded sweatshirt you will be proud to wear.

If you raise £1000, VITAL will be proud to take YOU out to dinner in London!!

As a VITAL participant, we will support you with :

*A 100% organic cotton, fair trade certified VITAL t-shirt

*Free on-line fundraising page to make it easy for friends & family to support you by visiting www.mycharitypage.com

You may want to compare commission charges on donations PLUS Gift Aid of different online sponsorship pages. You will be surprised.

*Fundraising advice & ideas, & training tips by phone, email or in person.

The Founder of the charity, Yvonne, participated in the individual sprint over the last 4 years.  She is available to meet & share with you her experiences along with any queries you may have about VITAL’s work, to provide fundraising advice & ideas or motivation to keep you on track during your preparation for the event.

As a former competitive Australian swimmer, she will be more than happy to give tips on technique in the pool with you to help allay any fears or boost your confidence level in the water.

On the big day, we welcome your family & friends to join the VITAL supporters along the route. VITAL t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts & canvas shopping bags  (all 100% organic cotton & fair trade certified) can be purchased for supporters to wear.

A donation receipt on letterhead so that you can claim the donation against your taxes will be sent to you if you wish.
