Baron Evans of Watford (David Charles Evans)


holds many positions in the voluntary sector such as Deputy Chairman of the International Medical Education Trust, Development Board Member of UCL Hospital's Charitable Trust, Honorary Fellow of the Cancer Research UK and Trustee of the Royal Air Force Museum.
Lord Evans is also  a member of the Worshipful Company of Marketors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the City and Guilds Institute.
A former Director of KISS 100FM, he is now Director of Watford Community Events, Royal Air Force Trading Company and Iconic Images Ltd.
As Founder of Centurion Press, he is Chairman of various subsidiary companies in the UK which include partnership Sourcing Ltd, Senate Consulting Ltd, Personnel Publications Ltd, Redactive Media Group, TU ink Ltd and Evans Mitchell Books.

 

 


Julie O'Donnell (aka Julie Spencer-Cingoz )
 
Previously CEO then Chair of national children's charity, British Institute for Brain Injured Children.
Recognition includes UK Charity Principal of the Year; DTi-sponsored UK Small Employer of Year, runner-up Britain's Best Boss; National Training Awards; HSE national health and safety award; cited as leading one of the 15 most innovative charities (nfpsynergy reportchArity).
Numerous speaking engagements include after-dinner talk to Charity Commission on their review visits and the launch of the CC's merger guidance document.
Spearheaded Autism Awareness Year and Ain't Misbehavin' campaigns which resulted in national awareness and coverage including interview with Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight.
Has run own catering and consultancy businesses, (consultancy work ranged from strategic level in Office of Schools Commissioner to local nursery school) as well as assessing and verifying NVQs and delivering training for wide range of industries.
Published author For Age Concern and in health and safety arenas.
Previous experience includes registered nurse, regional sales manager for national company, and board member of various commercial organisations, schools, colleges and other voluntary sector organisations including Somerset Racial Equality Council.
Currently non-executive vice-chair of Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases - an NHS Foundation Trust hospital, freelance writer for magazines and newspapers, chair of RNHRD charitable funds committee, trustee of BIRD.
